West Coast Pop Up Tour Poster Lo-Res copy.jpg

We are headed West!

Kaki Lima will collaborate with a bunch of young and awesome chefs — all with their own unique Indonesian heritage — on the West Coast this fall, and we are super excited! These guys are all an important part of the growing Indonesian Food Movement!

Our first stop: Portland, Oregon. We are teaming up with Gado Gado PDX on Oct. 18 for an elaborate meal all cooked in front of guests over a backyard open-pit fire! This pop up will be held at Portland's much-talked about Han Oak. The team behind Gado Gado PDX is Thomas and Mariah Pisha-Duffly, which some of you might remember. We've worked with them twice before — once at The Honey Paw in Portland, Maine and once at KO Pies in the Shipyard in Boston. Our collaborations are always super fun and amazing.

Our second stop: San Francisco, California. This event is a long time coming! We will join ChiliCali, aka Siska Marcus, the Indonesian pop up queen of the West Coast, at her spot on Nov. 5 for a flavor-packed seafood feast! Chef Siska has been wowing the Bay Area with her pop ups for several years. She has also recently launched a line of Indonesian sauces. Check. Them. Out. And then tell your friends about what will be an historic and delicious event. The coastal Indonesian food movements will finally unite, for one night only! Tickets for this one will go on sale very shortly. Stay tuned!

Our final stop: Los Angeles, California. We are honored to work with Erwin and Eric Tjahyadi, the Indonesian-American brothers behind LA's trend-setting Komodo empire, for two show-stopping pop ups. These guys are blowing up in Los Angeles. Chef Erwin's original Asian fusion dishes have been featured in every media imaginable. And now they've opened Bone Kettle to rave reviews. On Nov. 20 and 21, we will be joining them at Bone Kettle for two dinners. This is a collision of superstars. Don't miss it! Reserve your ticket here!
